HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 2012!

PARENT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
The next Parent Advisory Board Meeting will be held this Thursday, January 19th, at 9:15. This is a very important meeting so please be there!

THE POWER OF ONE
On Thursday, January 26, we will have a very special performance by a national performing troop called Siren Bannock Productions. This performance is for the Primary School only, and of course, parents are invited to come. The Power of One is a live show about bullying, a topic so relevant to children of this age. The Kindergarten, First and Second Grades will see the performance at 1:00 P.M., and the Third – Fifth graders will see the performance at 1:50 P.M. Again, we think that parents should view the show with their children so that they can follow through on discussions with the children at home. Bullying is creeping up as the number 1 malady in Elementary and Middle School!

GRANDPARENTS DAY, 2012
Our favorite day of the year is fast approaching- Grandparents Day! This is the time when all of our children “bring” their grandparents in to school for show and tell. The following is the schedule for Grandparent’s Day, 2012:

Thursday, February 9th
Mrs. Genereaux, Mrs. Schlossman, Mrs. Larmie, Mrs. Davison, Miss Trish, and Miss Robbie

Friday, February 10th
Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Mac, Mrs. Kramer, Miss Marcy, Miss Robbie and Miss Trish
10:30A.M.- 11:15 A.M. on both days!!

SAVE THE DATE
Although you will get written “save the date” announcements, and formal written invitations, we would like you to put this very important date on your calendar NOW, and line up your babysitters. Our bi-annual party fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 12th, at 7:00 P.M. It will be very much like our Fiesta that we had two years ago, with delicious food, beer, wine, a specialty drink, along with some very beautiful raffle prizes. Of course, we will also have our “class project” silent auction as well. Therefore, mark your calendars NOW and hire your babysitters and we will have a great time!
